Error: Can't Create A Game!

I used to have a private server that me and my friends played over my LAN, so I've had experience with servers before.

So I decided to set up one again, following the BR client tutorial. Same tutorial as last time, except a few of the files seem to be newer, and it uses SQL server 2008 instead of 2005.

So I got all my old custom maps that used to work 100%, and put them in the "Maps" folder of the client (which is working perfectly fine) and then loaded up the game, went in, turned off lightmap and shader and all those checkboxes, then when I tried to create a room with one of my custom maps, it just stops loading and says "Error: Can't Create A Game!".

I've had this problem before, but turning off lightmap always fixed it. Now I don't know what is causing it.

can't create game = map is not loading properly or is missing...

you sure there not encrypted maps?

Positive. I even tried other people's maps, and creating new maps from scratch, so I fear it has something to do with the game itself. Not sure though :/

By encrypting, it means you have to encrypt all mrs files and like Joe said, are they encrypted maps?

I know what encryption is, and no, they aren't encrypted. Just the .mrs files that GTK radiant produces.

So I downloaded the Filelist Skip version of Xiaolin's runnable. The maps now work. I didn't know maps had entries in the filelist?

Or you could of used the Filelist.XML Maker and put the filelist.xml into your system.mrs

Post the exact name of the map (ex: Snow_Town.mrs), your map.xml and channelrule.xml.

You do know u must encrypt the maps...
