hello, i was tried to follow this guide http://forum.ragezone.com/f497/tutor...uncher-333331/, after i followed this guide, my launcher is error. don't know what is wrong, anyone can help me?? i'm confused about the "copy your main directory of your Gunz folder for your private server" thing, is it all the server files + client?? or just the client??

Technically, you upload your client files and download it on the vps or where is appserv/wamp/xampp located and then go to WWW if appserv but if your using xampp then go to htdocs and make a folder called gunzweb inside that folder make another folder called GunzUpdate and place all the client files there so you can update em. By that you get ZPatchbuilder and build up your patch.xml and then you run the launcher.
ah, i see. i place all my gunz files (server + files) into one folder.LOL. okay, i'm gonna try it again, will update it ASAP.

UPDATE: when i running the launcher from the server it's ok. but when i try to running the launcher from my pc it's error. the error said "windows cannot access the file...." why is that?
UPDATE : SOLVED, it's because my Anti Virus..

Well the launcher is safe it's just false positive, mate.
Changing the launcher image is easy, but in which way you want to change it
The webbrowser's that pops up or the main one when it says analyzing patch info?

Before the webbrowser(Main image)Code:You need the following items: 1.Hex Editor. 2.Launcher. ------------ Here we go: Step 1: Grab your gunz launcher to desktop or any place you prefer it to be. Step 2: Get any hex editors and get the gunz launcher on hex. Step 3: Press CTRL + F on your keyboard to search for the following: Type in:start.html Step 4: After searching for start.html, scroll up a bit and you'll see an ip, simply change that to your ip Example:"127.0.0.1..../Launcher/start.html" Step 5: Go to your appserv/xampp and make a folder called Launcher. Step 6: Add a start.html and a front.jpg(Start.html is the texting that will be added to the image.) Front.jpg is the image behind the text your gonna add to start.html. Step 7: Save the changes you made in the hex and now your done.
Have fun~Code:You need the following: 1.PE Explorer. 2.Gunz launcher. 3.Image.bmp Let's begin... Step 1: Open up PE Explorer. Step 2: Open the gunz launcher in PE Explorer Step 3: On the main-bar click on View --> Resources and then Search for the folder called Bitmap Step 4: Expand that folder and look to img36 or something like that it should be the main image. Step 5: Right click the img36 or what ever its called and click on Edit resource Step 6: Finally you load your .bmp image and then save changes and then your done.

i've successfully change the image (both), now after the launcher patched, my launcher become wierd. the image changed into like this

Your start.html is probably having a pop-up window or a direct link.
Well you can edit your start.html by right clicking and editing it or changing it into start.php and edit it and changing it back to start.html.
i edited the start.html and change the front.jpg, after that, my launcher updates, after it's patched. there's new "duel.exe". i wonder where's that came from?? and from what IP my Launcher was get the update...?? ---.---a

You've changed the ip to something else or just re check your files at gunzweb/gunzupdate and make sure everything is righ and re build up your patch.xml.
i just changed like your guide, change the Image URL (launcher.levelup.co.br/Launcher/start.html) into my URL (xxxx/start.html), it's very wierd...

still got same problem, i stopped the xampp, but still everytime i start my launcher, it's download update from another website. my Client become really new... >.<. i checked the Launcher only my web and http:// WINNIT. <--- is it because of this?

It should be the IP but not your site.
the vps ip or wherever your hosting the xampp.
still the same. what launcher do you use? i'm using GunzLauncher_BR-english...
I technically use own made one.
You can get to get a new one there is alot on ragezone.

i know, what i mean is, i can't start it without Launcher, is it how it works? meanwhile my Launcher still have same problem like yesterday...
