Exporting to Gunz

    Exporting to Gunz

    So, I Made a sword with blender and exported it to gunz. I replaced the rusty sword. I go into gunz, look at the rusty sword, and sure enough, its my sword, but, theres no texture. The whole thing is gray. Nothing I do fixes it. Help, please?

    Post the code you entered into the weapon.xml and the original names of the .dds and .elu files.

    something tell's me he never added the texture correctly in blender

    Or he renamed it after exporting it.

    wait, so you have to add coding into weapon.xml even if your replacing a weapon? So like..training katana i believe is katana01, so if i export my sword as katana 01 it replaces it. Do I still need to do coding?

    Theres a much easier way .__."
    If you only want to test the Weapon just rename your leu file to the first name of the weapons.
    (Katan -> katana01, Dagger -> dagger01 and so on)
    And overwright the old one or just take the old one out.
    Place the texture in there (no renaming here!)
    Compile the model mrs and throw it into your test servers main folder.
    Get ingame, be happy, shout yay.
