You couldn't per se make it float in the air, unless you'd do some item ID comparisons and change the z value up say 200 from the floor, but it would probably be an easier achievement to make a "Low Gravity" Suit of some sort, by comparing and changing the gravity float value.

It's possible, you just need someone who has the time and knowledge.
