Hey, please help me with this one.
I made this nade, its shaped like a walkie talkie, i added to zitem, it works fine in game and everything but why is it when i throw it out, a normal nade comes out instead of flying walkie talkies, can anybody please help :x
You set your grenade's number in weapon.xml as a regular grenade.
If I am thinking correctly, GunZ use's the same grenade model & texture with that type of grenade.
So when you throw it, GunZ thinks it's a explosive grenade. Causing it to load that model, and cause that explosion.
Simple terms, either edited the model GunZ use's when throwing the grenade, or do some ASM work.
Wtf? i thought i can just change the xml or something to say "i wanna make this nade fly and not default nade"
No whats happening is when Gunz loads the animation file, it loads what ever is labeled as grenade01.elu.ani that uses grenade01.elu instead of your model. I dont know if you can change it or not D:
