    GtkRadiant help.

    EDIT: Problem was with getting textures to work. Problem is now solved.

    For anyone else trying to get textures to work in GtkRadiant just create a textures folder in C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3\ then inside that create a new directory for your texture groups. For example:

    C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3\textures\Floors
    C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3\textures\Walls

    New problem

    When I import my md3 models using the misc_model option my model will have no skin. I am using NMD3C to convert my 3ds models to md3 but when I try to write in the texture path it will vanish after exporting or using "rebuild normals" (Yes I am using "/" and not "\" in my address).

    The closest I have gotten to importing a full skinned model was by changing the texture address of an already build md3 model. However this little bug only seems to happen with the models I create.

    If you know the answer please let me know. Also if you know of another way to change the skin location in an md3 file that would also be helpful info.

    I'm making my map too...but...I don't know, how to save the map in a archive .mrs, anyone know?

    Wow what the heck? This thread is old I didn't think anyone was going to bother replying to it.

    I figured it out on my own anyway.

    @dr4gunz you can't compile the mrs yet since Legion is still making the program to do it.

    @mts as long as you make your map in Quake 3 mode you should be fine for when Legion releases his compiler.

    EDIT: Since this thread has now been bumped back to page 1 I have edited my first post with some info I have picked up and some questions on new problems I am having.

    to save your file as .mrs you click "build" in the taskbar of the program (very top, with file, view, edit, all that) and if you have light click fast light, if you didnt put light click nolight, and itll make a .mrs file in the directory you gave it (most use C:/gunzmap/)
