Gunz 2 video.

its looking good, but it looks more like a combination of wolfteam & Unreal Tournament 2004

no reason to call this Gunz the second duel.
it's completely differtent.
i'm dissapointed, i expected something much better.

Looks pretty well done. Whenever it comes out, I dont mind giving it a shot.

Have to disaggree with Phoenix though. The game upgraded itself, and I am sure in a better way. Yes maybe the idea behind the whole new graphic shabang is different, but you would have to get used to it. Let's take DotA for example. DotA based on warcraft3 engine is pure shit, uncreative and looks fugly. Now, since the original Author of DotA, is working for Valve, creating DotA 2, it's going to be completely different experience.


I dont know why you dont like it. I think it's for the best.

I don't get the comparisons to S4. S4 has really restricted movements, and the pace is a lot slower.

Gun2 looks like it'll be a big, much needed, improvement. I thought it might end up like Duke Nukem Forever, but I'm pretty excited now.

Error 404, it's not like I don't like it! I feel it's great and I'm eager to try it out as well. It's just that it's not even close to GunZ so the purpose of "GunZ 2" is kind of ruined. Oh well, it should be awesome in it's own way.

MAIET was going for something like this when they created Gunz and decided it wasn't going to be an MMORPG back in 2003.

Also, skip the video to 6 seconds and you'll see it looks a lot like the old KGunz 2003 Prototype flip animation.

Well they obviously decided wisely, GunZ 1 was a pretty big hit.
GunZ 2 looks awesome and all, but look at kids nowadays, we all started as kids playing gunz, some of you still are...

I dont think kids this day and age will look forward to this type of game. YES teamfortress 2 and COD franchise are all popular, but they have been VERY popular and more popular than gunz 1 for years...
I dont see gunz 2 going anywhere....

IMO it looks amazing, but thinking about it, will it be a 1 hit wonder like crappy soldier front?...

Well, the purpose is not really ruined, You may've played Gunz 1 for some time now, but the point is, the game has to upgrade and evolve. Take movie Matrix or Blade, those movies are both Trilogies. Of course people like the first movie, rather than 2nd and third, but the point is, the movie has to continue it's story line, rather than just staying as one movie. This is just the way it is.. Some people like things to be ole' skool, and some people adapt to a newer graphical concepts of the game. I can't compare the 2 games to tell the difference, but trust me, over time, people will move on Gunz2. People are always going to have different opinions. (;
