big grin Gunz animations... please take a look(Cinema4D)

a guy here on ragezone named Phantom (sorry if i didn't get his name right)made a Blender tutorial that allows us to import .elu and .ani files to blender.. but there is no way to export the .ani files off of blender.. so I was on youtube and I saw this youtuber named: TheFougax.. apparently she can import full costume sets to Cenima4D and can export them and make them into videos :D! look for yourself:

The Ambush - Gunz 3D Animation - YouTube

Gunz 3D Pack for Cinema 4D - YouTube

    Gunz 3D - Jump Animation - YouTube

is she using the same method for importing .ani's and Elu's to blender? but with Cenima4D???? how is she doing it? please respond :P thanks

    p.s
Here is some footage of her editing it XD:

First Screen Capture / Animating new scene for the 3D pack - YouTube

    p.p.s
I am not a stalker I just want to be able to animate gunz sets and be able to put it in a gunz p server :3 or make vids with it.

I would imagine he/she is importing into blender, exporting into another format, and importing into C4D. That's all.

    Pft what is this o.O?
Phantoms script imports elu and ani, it does export into elu.
Besides, elu is only used by the game, you can just select the crap and export it, for example, as a wavefront object.
Also, blender can also be used to animate, theres no real need to export them.
Its more up to which programm you are better at / used to use.

Many people used this already for frag videos.
Nothing new at all, atleast for the "older" ones of us.

Well, I don't really understand the point of this thread, but from what i understood, you are trying to export .elu right? From what Mark says, the person who made the video must have exported model into another format, then importing the file into Cinema 4D and created the whole animation.
And if you wanna make a vid or something by animation, it takes alot of hard work, I'm an experienced animator, yeah, you wouldn't understand the hard work that you need to put in to make a successful animation. If you have been through animation, then this is ezpz for you. If not, then you need to go through the basics before even stepping into animating.

sorry edited the .elu part in the post. Well thing is I was to be able to change the sword charge animation in gunz to something different and I don't know how O_o is it really that simple just by importing the elu, editing it and replacing it? all the elu's have .ani files with them that cant be exported soo.. I don't think its that simple..

That guy didn't really export the ani's to the game, but he used Cinema 4D to animate the characters, then most likely recorded a scene in the map and after edited the rendered characters in.

Infact, it was me who even told fougax some stuff ...
    This is not shoped,

And yes, he imports the stuff at blender to export it into cad.
Then animates there, renders it and combines the rendered video with the rendered map stuff.
Just like error said abouve me.

gunz_import.py and gunz_export.py does import/export .ani, just not in the file format, .ani

    Cad = C4D = Cinema 4D.
Everyone starts as a noob, dw.
Its just that you could have read some more stuff before posting this thread.
    Just saying.

But i think one question that you wanted to point at was if its possible to make custom animations for gunz/the game.
    The answer is: No.
And for a certain reason i am glad about this.
I dont want to see servers making silly fapping animations and use them or other crap like that.

Re: Gunz animations... please take a look(Cinema4D)

He uses 3d ripper dx to get a 3d copy of the map.
This is for getting correct shadow cast etc.

He imports the set models, puts them in a scene and poses the armature, makes keyframes, sets the lights for the scene and renders the animation as a video.
