Gunz.exe not working

Alright my problem isnt as bad as the thing sounds and surly enough I have done my searching and it seems the people that have an almost same problem either describe theirs in a wierd way or dont get an answer.

My problem is that when my system.mrs is under default encryption my game works fine. Though when I encrypt it with a custom encryption ??? x ??? (yes im using the uber cool and easy mrs viewer) and use the file inside my gunz folder it no longer runs. It just acts like its going to but then nothing comes up. So I was wondering if there was an easy way to edit my gunz.exe so that it can read the encrypted system.mrs and get it to run like normal. :P Im getting tired of people system.mrs editting.
