Radiant is a BRUSH based Mapping program and i cant agree with you.
There are some realy good maps out there that have been made with Radiant.
So its either you failing or do we ...?

However, the only benefit of using Blender imo is a more accurate Lightning due to be able to place a sun to lit it in a natural way.
So it feels like the light actualy comes from somewhere and isnt
a random floating sphere of light.

No, you just suck at using simple programs. If you would master gtk, you could make high class advanced maps. But I guess it is imposible for you since you are saying that gtk is hard to use. lol...

I didn't said radiant is hard for me :D
It just have poor tools for making 3d.
I made 2 maps in GTK but this maps was made in 2 days, In blender that will be easier (i guees 2 hours for make map).
For example i made good login map in few minutes (in blender of course). But after exporting it into gtk my time was x8 longer only for TEXTURING!

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5322887/GunZ/1234.jpg (Final model)

Working in radiant is waste of time.
Thats why im requesting script for blender.

No, working in radiant isn't a waste of time. What's a waste of time is making a new exorter for Blender, when the one for radiant is fine. Time used to make a map exporter for Blender could be better spent improving the radiant exporter, or even better, fixing the elu/ani exporter/importer in Blender.

if you set up your fsrad well and combine your maps with elu files, then you can make VERY advanced and detailed maps.
I myself dont have problems in gtk with making detailed stuff ;o

As you can see, with some Fakin using elus/models you can do quite some stuff.
Btw, pls memorize that the "boxes" are brushes...!

    Looks awesome man!

    @ topic:
I dont really see how you can have trouble with GTK... GTKRadiant is easier then Blender and thats a fact. and using elu's with gtk isnt hard just look up the basic codes and mess arround in the xml's, if you did a little more research before asking for a exporter you wouldn't of had so much critics on your post. Trust me Blender is harder than Gtk Radiant.

In blender, go to Shading (F5). Then you should see a Panel saying (Shaders | Mirror Trans | SSS). Click on Shaders and pull the bar of "Spec" down to 0.

Looking at "How to add Sky spheres to your Map" (or something like that) @ legions gzmap forum will teach/tell you how to add models to a map.

Re: Gunz Map Builder for Blender 2.49b

Okay i tryed to put *.elu files on map but there is one BIG problem. One model must have one texture ? I spend so hours to getting this work... and useless...

I made 6 materials. Each one have one texture.
Forst i started with sepataring mesh by texture. Next i set material for each one and export. Export = Mesh isn't visible.

Later i joined all mesh and i assign material to selected faces. Export = All faces have just same texture.

How to make it works ?

How about using a default Script of Blender to Consolidate all Textures into one Texture?
This will also include the uvw information.

And you wanted a compiler for gunz maps @ blender huh?

Scripts -> Image -> Consolidate into one Image.
Scripts is either acessable as a Menu or in the menu bar @ the uvw image editor.

Re: Gunz Map Builder for Blender 2.49b

Thanks a lot! :D but this image is big as hell :D
I thinking about making separated object as 1 elu file. This will be good too.

Edit: Uff i've done it. HellSniper map size with your technique have 1,8mb. Map with separated objects in *.elu files 600kb. But there i still have questions :) When i putting light on map with Radiant then build it with fastlight. *.elu models on maps ignoring this light. Is possible to make light for elu models ?
