i got overloaded by such suggestions.
Fuck commands too, a server with too many commands can become complicated and all the nubz won't even know what to do to use them. Unique style menus etc... would be the thing to do, so instead of commands, use GUI's, which not many would be able to pull off...
A whole new look, but the same gameplay. Mayb weird ass interface?

Hmm, I Agree with Joe. Custom commands are nonsense, programming a GUI sounds fancy. I've had great ideas that I've told Aristrum about, and he fancied doin' em, but fuuuuccccckkkkk, his university is starting an he has to finish his paid projects.

What GunZ "players" need doesn't matter much. It's just that GunZ needs better players, like the old days.
If you're really looking for an answer, it just depends from person to person. Just do what you think is best and wait for the results. If not, make changes.
I would be nice if someone tried to inplant new game modes....

Maiet-styled maps with great gameplay experience and like rotana said, new game modes.
I would really like to see some kind of CTF in gunz, I think it will be awesome to play. If you can combine this with an awesome CTF-styled map, who knows people start being active on the gunz-scene again?
I was talking about quality maps (preferably maiet-styled) with good gameplay. The maps provided by gunz are (for me) just too few. I actually get quited boring playing the same maps over and over again. I know, map rotation is invented to reduce this problem but addng a few new maps couldn't hurt either.

Gunz needs a balanced game system, widescreen support and an optional HD filter, more clan management features and social based clan wars so new players aren't turned off by the GZF fags (mostly NA, no offense since EU kids are pserver heroes) and don't feel like playing anymore.
The HD filter is needed so new players aren't turned of by the fact of the outdated graphics but old skool players wouldn't have to turn it on and could play old skool.
Clan management is still needed so you could limit players for CW (yeah I know some pservers have this, I know my shit k?) and you could setup some kind of a rank system.
Widescreen support is just because I want it and pretty much everyone else with a widescreen monitor, which is pretty much all of us nowadays ya know?
Biggest flaw of Gunz is the balance, tank sets and HP/AP meds really fuck up the system.
We never get iGunz back and I don't see Gunz moving from ijji even tho that would be best for all of us.
I played a game this weekend and it saddened me when I saw 0 players in CW because I remember the good ol' days of full servers.
I can't motivate my best Gunz buddies anymore to get on ijji since pservers fucked it too which is funny coming from me but I know how it is and so do those people above and beyond me in this thread.

New XML's, new Game Modes, interactive (High Quality) maps/environments (like in Gunz 2) new Maiet Quality quests with complete maps with 100% working spawns and strings for each NPC, another (or a couple) new item classes, maybe even actually have Scope Aiming with a Sniper, new move(s)/style(s) and a Sleek new interface (complete XML workover included)
Some unheard of commands would also be cool, and most of all a stable server with a 100% balanced shop that everyone will find 'fair'

i just sparked an idea. in the loading, instead of a loading screen have a video of the gameplay or a single player simulation. it'd showcase the entire thing, have its own song, blah blah, and you could be able to interact with it too, meaning if it was on like guide mode or something, it'd say "Press W to move forward" and you'd do it.
probably not even possible but its just a general thought
I've been watching gunz develop for the past 4 almost 5 years. What would i like? Customize-ability. I don't want to have to stick to "default" interfaces. Why can't you swap them out? Have a website linked up with a launcher, auto download the files for the interface and auto replace. depending on your selection. Be able to create my own bgm with audio i've downloaded. An emulator would be nice for that so it can work on any gunz. New interface just in general, why do i have to see the same template for loading gunz? Why not mix it up a bit? Have the bar go down instead of left to right, put it at the top not bottom? Just move buttons around and make it look better. change boxes to be transparent, like the options box. we need creativity here in gunz. We need someone to create it![]()
In my opinion custom commands are a waste of time.

Reading the bottom , I must ask you this. Who in the world of GunZ P Servers would want a guide mode to learn to play? Like Stefan said systems need revamping and like Rotana new gamemodes. Think of any online game e.g. Combat Arms they are too busy racking up money that they dont really listen to their players , now think of private servers e.g. flyff , bugs that gala didnt fix the pserver devs fixed. Excuse my language , I'm not perfect.
