Gunz Server Set Up

Hey ragezone members,

OMG look its my first post.... so eek!
Well im trying to start up my own gunz server i have a vps i baught from http://www.kickassvps.com/ However after many problems with the data base (that i fixed hopefuly).

i have read some tutorials:

i have tried to get everything right but its just not working, my locator doesnt work, my matchagent doesnt work and my mach server says its all fine and dandy!

im looking for some one who will help me by guiding me through it or just fixing it up there and then ....

Any help will be realy realy realy helpful....

I think i understand why it isnt working, my host didn portforward my vps :)

That would not the issue - if a host didn't enable port forwarding (Assuming it's even behind a router), accessing the box via a remote protocol wouldn't work at all (e.g.: SSH, FTP, etc).

well i have moved my vps to a better one (and cheaper) so said problems are not nessasary. however i have the feeling im getting soemthing wrong or im forgetting to do something eather way if any one could help me with the setting up of the server that would be magical :) not realy doing it just making sure that i dont skrew it up again!
