    Start wampserver.

If localhost doesn't work, try connecting to the IP address of your VPS server.

    Re: gunz web in VPS?

if ur using Dedicated Server (box) / VPS the problem is nearly allways that there is a Programm that Starts When u Start ur VPS (the Web Server) and that is ur .com site. so to fix this u have to use a program (dont remember name) do get the ip and See what Programm uses the Port for u WebServer and then shut it down :D thats 1 of the way to get it Gone. Second 1 is to Look up in theire Files.. but that will take time. so yea.. try them out.

    Simple...

find a htdocs folder somewhere, probably in a folder in your c: drive.
Once you found it, delete everything in it, create a index.html saying HI or something then goto 127.0.0.1....
I had this and deleted all that crap and used wamp xD

    Re: gunz web in VPS?

Plesk isn't possible to uninstall unless the host does it. Usually Plesk uses up a port so 127.0.0.1 on port 80 would be free.

Changing Plesk ports is possible but I'll work that out later.

You can delete it easily via Control Panel > Add or Remove programs.

Question would be... Why the fuck would you. Plesk is a paid, pretty good, controlpanel that has everything you want. FTP-service, HTTP-service, HTTPS-service, bandwitch monitoring, statistics monitoring, and much more.

    Re: gunz web in VPS?

plesk is cool just wish you could change the address so its not 127.0.0.1 =\ but like

vpsip.pleskdesktop*adminname*.whatever would make it hard to get into and youd need the password would make it so much easier to use localhost =\

    Re: gunz web in VPS?

Don't uninstall plesk: you'll lose your money.
Just open the plesk service monitor and turn the control panel off.
