GunzDB

Hi, I just wiped my computer and I'm trying to reinstall my MSSQL 2005. When I make a new database (GunzDB) then open file>gunzdb.sql then execute it on GunzDB it gives me this error.

Msg 1801, Level 16, State 3, Line 2
Database 'GunZDB' already exists.
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.


I already searched the forum on this, the response's that I found didn't help. Such as "delete the GunzDB and try" etc.

Any help will be appreciated thx.

turn off the sql server

then go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data

delete GunzDB and GunzDB_log.

Yeah.. and that does me all of no good? Cause then the GunzDB located in the SQL Manager is no longer accesible which makes me have to remake it and those files are back. So this doesn't solve the problem stated above.

Alright I tried deleting the files, and executing LG's Gunz.DB on "master" and it self-created a GunzDB file in the SQL manager. But the GunzDB that it makes is empty and its like 5-6 gigabytes... Anyone know how to actully fix this problem?

if u can't delete it Just Make GunzDB2

I never said I couldn't delete it. I can delete the files no problem, what the problem is that taking the GunzDB and opening LG's GunzDB.sql and executing his DB sql into my GunzDB. it gives me the error said above. Next time read the problem someone is having then reply on how to fix it.

(Also like I said, I also tried deleting the files and just opening the GunzDB.sql by LG's team, and executing on master and it self-creates a GunzDB but the file is empty and its 5 gigabytes of data....)

First off, I'm looking for a answer on how to solve LG's Gunz.DB problem with executing, I've had it running before and if I recall I had this same problem I just forgot how to fix it. >< and I also perfer LG's Gunz.DB over the july server.

But I might as well try to run the july, thx not a bad idea.


Any other help on LG's Gunz.DB will be appreciated thx.

First of all im new here, im perfect at making gunz server, if u get that error u know why? You have to go to options but first u have click on the retore thingy and then go to options and then click the first one to Optimize i think its called like that now click that 1 and then click ok and ok kk.
