ok so my server is done the onlly problem is that i tryed the server
on another computer and it couldnt conect.
i know that there is a way with hamachi.. but nah..
can some one hellp me?
post a tutorial plz

1)Turning off the firewall or both computers OR opening ports through firewall
2)Forwarding ports OR turning off router
3)making sure the IP address is right (http://ipchicken.com or http://whatismyip.com)
4)If you use BR client, then you need to have matchserver, matchagent, and locator running AND have the correct information in the ServerStatus.dbo file in your database.
5)If that doesnt work and ur using BR, try switching to IGunZ clients to see if they work.
6)All else fails, salvage your .MRS's and use a new tutorial =/

Ok now it not eaven working on my computer..
and i didnt used my wan ip i ussed my
"conection specific DND Suffix"
ip address.......................:10.10.10.1xx

EDIT:
I know that i have to do somthing with port forwarding..
but i dont know how..

10.10.10. doesnt seem like an actual IP address o.o i only see that in large companies and schools.

go to http://portforward.com/routers.htm

and check that out.

-what do i need to do so other people can enter my server?
-why when i use my wan ip i cant enter eaven from my computer?

1)If its IGunZ clients just edit config.xml to your IP ADDRESS (do NOT use WAN IP.) If its BR then you have to edit ServerStatus.dbo accordingly, the config.xml, AND have matchserver, matchagent, and locator running.

2)because u just cant use the wan ip, only your normal IP because, in the best ways i can explain it, if you tried to RDC to your computer, you cant use the WAN IP, only your normal IP. This means that the wan IP isnt really there to accept or deny connections, therefor it wont work.

3)sort of. routers wont let suspicous ports access your computer sometimes, so they deny them. forwarding these ports allows them to connect to your computer.

4)no, use normal IP, not WAN

yes thats correct and dude just spend some green and buy a VPS or something, i found one for 10$/month

well i tought about it.
but a few questions
1.if i host on a vps the ports will be automaticlly opened?
2.what files exactlly do i have to host?

1)iunno if not you can either turn off firewall or open ports again

2)All the files needed server side (Matchserver, Matchagent, Locater, all contents)

If you want to fit a decent amount of ppl on your VPS id suggest not getting the 10$ one lol, try finding one with 512-1GB+ RAM and 2.3+ processor
