Well hello im asking for some help for my private server i readed al the tuts of the br client well thats new to me i know how to make pservers easy and put clan war and stuff only at the br client i dont realy get the hex editing so could someone wanna help me whit the launcher if somebody helps me whit that i can do everything the hex part is hardest for me i dont get it :s its hard so can somebody please help me whit it. if u can can u pm me ur add my msn suri_booike@live.nl

ok A) i only see 1 period in that entire paragraph.

B) you spelled "read" as "readed"

C) Hex is easy. See, say when the game is loading up and in the top left it says "Khanna's Runnable" but you want it to say something like... "rodanio14's Runnable". All you do is open the .exe file (also known as the GunZ client or GunZ Runnable) with a hex editor. Next you search for something like "Runnable" or "Khanna's". Then the Hex Editor will find that part of the coding and you can edit it by going to the beginning of the words(Such as "K" for "Khanna") then typing in what you want. Its like that for mainly everything you want to edit. Please note you will need more experience to do other things but ive gotten fine with my server by doing that. Now im going to give you some tips.

1) Almost everything in GunZ: The Duel is run by .XML files. This is what you'll mainly be editing

2) Always make 2 copies or something your trying to edit. This way if you screw up, you delete the one you messed up in, recopy your old file, then start over. Or if you do something and its right, you delete your old file and replace it with your new one (still make 2 copies of the new file)

3) Note when saving something, make a backup folder of whatever is in what your saving and make sure you take out your backup files before doing anything.

4) If you want to feel special and get some minor help on your way, Me (Khanna) Bepetemish, ThievingSix, Sulfin, we'd all be happy to help you. Thing is dont ask us for every single little thing, try to figure things out, use us as a completely last resort.

5) When you want to edit your shop, there are three key things in your system.mrs. Zitem.xml, Strings.xml, and shop.xml. You use these three things to organize your shop, add or remove items from your shop, change weight, attributes, HP, AP, or damage of your items, and anything else about the shop i forgot to mention.

6) to make your lobby (Also known as "Interface") look cool like LegacyGamers or EpicCoders games, you have to edit things in the default.mrs and in the loadable.mrs.

7) to make a custom login screen (The area your character shows up in when you select a character, for most official GunZ games its the train.) you edit the login.mrs.

8) To get cool music in your game, you edit the "BGM" which is located in your sounds fodler in the main folder, find a tutorial because the songs have to especially named to specifics and also converted to .OGG format.

9) Anything else I missed ill add later. But like i said me and some others would be more than happy to help you with minor things, but what impresses us most is when you can do these things on your own. Ask Bepetemish, I've done almost everything for my game on my own for the past 4 months, yet its a huge success and i have people literally begging me to help them, once we get our server back up for the second beta to finsish getting rid of bugs, our Server is estimated to have over 1000 users on it, and we have barely advertised.

One last thing.

Do the best you can. Dont look back. Never let anyone tell you something cant be done. And just because I or Satan GunZ or LGGunZ have a lot of users, doesn't mean you wont. Hell you could blow us out of the water and fairly soon be working for MAIET or even making your own custom video game like I am. Who knows, but don't give up^_^
