[Help]cannot access server

Hi guys
i did my own private server and i did finish all my things. Now, i have to connect to game but it say "cannot access server" and i did open locator, matchagent, matchserver and serverkeeper.
Is some1 can help me?

ok will since u can c the server nd u have locator nd matchserver open
im guessing its ur ip
if u have a router then it wont work

Set the all the IP (including serverconfig) to 127.0.0.1

Then you use a wrong runnable or your server isn't setup correctly.

i tried to setup a server as well, but same thing... "cannot access server", i always used only client/server files provided together and follow correct guide, tried even anything that looked like hint, still the same error...

it's proven that client makes communication with locator and makes communication with matchserver too (also client shows " <<< Connecting >>> " before returning error

so anyone got an idea what's wrong? if it's not my fault (and overlooked something) it has to be something that is not clear from the guides

first thing first dont add ur wan ip if u have a router
second if u tryed localhost and u have matchserver + loactor open
thne u have the wrong runable going with the server files

GotRice, I Even redid his entire server setup. theirs something wrong with his pc. its not possible =S

what pc he got?

tried the same on three different computers, no routers, each has its own public ip (so "localhost" makes no difference), even each has different OS, Vista x64, 2003 x64, XP x86... so either is problem with MSSQL 2005 Express or I had to overlook something in setup, these are only thing I guess they are the same...

example with kekku's files... copy server files and client files, applied update1 on both, imported the db (even with sa login to be sure), only thing changed in configs were the IPs, added record to account and login tables, added one to serverstatus table as well, type set as testserver (as "test" is in matchserver config). then i run matchserver, locator and agent, run the client, it connects with locator, so server is visible in client, chose it, fill in username and password (as plaintext and unencrypted in db, yes?) click connect, it connects with matchserver, client shows "connecting" for a while, then it falls back to login screen with "cannot access server", quite same fairytale goes on with BR or LG files.

I'm not a newbie in (ms)sql, networking or setting up this kind of server SW, so there must be some kind of detail I'm doing wrong... I saw some ppl has same-looking problem, some of them fixed it, I'd really apperciate sharing their experience

He has a 504RAM WXP Laptop. i think it was. im not sure. the 504RAM Could be someone else i gave support to. but yeah it was a laptop.

Btw i even filled in the actual things your supposed to have inside the tables and showed him how to add custom stuff via the database instead of using system.mrs
