    [Help] Changing the amount of NPC's in a quest.

    I've messed around with this the last days, trying to get just a little bunch of NPC's in a stage - but haven't had any luck. Anyone know how I can do it?

    (By "changing the amount of NPC's in a quest" I mean, like, you know how questlevel 1 quests have 26 NPC's, and questlevel 5 have 50 NPC's.)

    Yeah, it would be cool to fight like, three goblin kings with no adds. Or maybe even Lich, Goblin King and Cursed Pampow :)

    Scale is not amount. Scale is the npc size. Good try though

    I guess I have to bump it up then...

    Also, it can't be in the DB because the database has nothing to do with it xD (even though I checked there too just to be sure.)

    Don't mess with NPC scale or others.

    You have to do the NPCset.

    Notice it carefully. In NPCset, it specifies the AMOUNT of that specified NPC to spawn. Try a look.

    Yeah, I've done that but my problem is, I want only two NPC's to spawn and that isn't in the npcset. I've made it spawn only two goblin kings by making a npcset like this :

    <NPCSET id="10054" name="Gs4" basenpc="12">
    <ADDNPC npc_id="48" min_rate="20" max_rate="20" />
    </NPCSET>
    (The NPC_id 48 is my GK ID.)

    It looks like it will only spawn two goblin kings right? Wrong. It'll spawn 24 goblin gunners D: I could have just replaced which NPC's spawn with some goblins which instantly dies when they spawn but I really wanted a "cleaner" quest than that.

    Hmm... This thread soon has just as many views as "Sticky: [Tags] Will be enforced". No wonder there's so few threads with tags.

    Should I change this to a [Dev] thread as it seems no one has figured it out yet? Me, and probably many others, would love to see "cleaner" quests where the focus is around only one NPC. I think it would be really nice to have.

    easy ...to edit just multiple the npc names and etc
    i meant let say

    <NPCSET id="10114" name="G14" basenpc="11">
    <ADDNPC npc_id="111" min_rate="15" max_rate="15" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="12" min_rate="20" max_rate="20" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="13" min_rate="5" max_rate="5" />
    set a few more lines like this
    <NPCSET id="10114" name="G14" basenpc="11">
    <ADDNPC npc_id="111" min_rate="15" max_rate="15" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="12" min_rate="20" max_rate="20" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="13" min_rate="5" max_rate="5" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="111" min_rate="15" max_rate="15" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="12" min_rate="20" max_rate="20" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="13" min_rate="5" max_rate="5" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="111" min_rate="15" max_rate="15" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="12" min_rate="20" max_rate="20" />
    <ADDNPC npc_id="13" min_rate="5" max_rate="5" />

    Well Then You Would Have To Edit Alot Of Things To Make It Work.

    I Wouldn't Mess With It.
