[HELP] I cant change the IP on system.mrs!

ive never before in my career of making GunZ servers known that you had to change an IP address in the system.mrs, or that there was an IP address in the system.mrs at all, and trust me ive been here for over a year.

I've helped make quite a few servers and was unaware of this as well. Perhaps you should try unpacking the .mrs and editing system.xml? ;o

i tried to unpack and change on system.xml and pack it again..

there is nothing in the system.mrs you must change.

I run Epic GunZ, we are slowly becoming one of the best servers out there and im telling you bro theres nothing in the system.mrs you must change as far as IP addresses.

you need to go to your GunZ directory, find config.xml, right click it, then open.

It should say something about IP's in there, change it to your IP (http://ipchicken.com)

then go to ServerStatus.dbo in your database files, add the server accordingly(shouldnt be too hard to figure out)

Make sure the IP address is correct in your matchserver, matchagent, and locator folders (usually the .ini file is where the IP needs to be, in Matchserver you also need to change the stuff at the top to your gunz database, username, and password)then run all three of them

that should work, if not i suggest you find a tutorial.

Look into your database tables Login and Accounts

Login.Table contains Passwords
Accounts.table is oblivious


If there is no account present make it by filling in the fields except the regnumber..

Account Table:
Username, Age, Location(in 2~3 letters recommended like Brazil = BR or Germany = DE), Email, Regdate.... regnum is not important
(AID as in Account Identification cell is read only.. it'll be created after pressing 2 times enter when all fiels required are filled in or when you start filling in either way you still get the AID)

Execute!

Login.table:
AID of Account created in Account.table, fill in what have been filled in at Account.table ;)

oh thatnk you but i mean the pass and user of DB!
he said me to change the DB pass and user in the top of the file
like GunzDB sa 123456
and i dont know what mines...
and i tried all without this step and i got canot acces server...

the DB pass is the same thing as the SQL server pass itself. whatever user/password you use to access the program(SQL Server 2005) and see the GunZ DB is the user/password you use in the files (Like lets say mine was SA for user and khanna for password, thats what i would input)
