[Help]Microsoft SQl server error!

Hi all..i have a problem with MSSQL server 2005. I installed both SQL server 2005 and management studio express but as soon as i try to connect to the server, i get an error saying my system does not allow remote connections. I fix that in the settings but then when i try to connect again, it says something about pipes. If any one know how to resolve this, please let me know here. About 3 months ago it was working fine but i dont know what happend. Thank you for your help.
