There is a monster bible in the game, it was never enabled in official version because of all the bugs.

You need to mess with the files in either the default.mrs or the loadable.mrs (I forget which one) look for the files monsterbook.xml and lobby.xml. You'll figure it out eventually if you have half a brain :P
