Well thats Linux not Windows. mssql_connect() is only availible on Windows. reason being is that Linux cannot run mssql server. Same reason why Windows cant run certain Linux applications. Linux was mainly made for the Web hosting industry not Game Server. Many game servers use Windows Server 2000 Pro or Windows Server 2003 Enterprise to host their servers. U don't have mssql extension enabled. to enable it on Linux u have to recompile php.

Just use hosting program like appserv look at the tutorial from kekku if u read that tutorial everything will go fine =D
