    I need a Tutorial to assign a static ip address "external one" I wanna host my own gunzserver from my own computer,Don't suggest me buying a vps or using hamachi It's pointless cuz I WON'T:P. all I need is a good tutorial to host from my own computer with a static ip that works for public not for me only,any good tut except "Portforwarding"..I have heard from my friend about "Bridging 1 port" something like this..any Ideas?please share a useful tuts or ideas No need for bad comments or anything Likely.

    You can host GunZ with your static IP.

    I KNOW THAT!,I have a dynamic IP,I need to make a static one,that's my point please Just read before replying

    You should contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to get a static IP.

    Of course you could try this:

    If you really Don't want to call your ISP, What you could do is a few of these options

    1) What you can do to start using no-ip.com

    Fill in your system.mrs >> system.xml with the no-ip.

    Host it, and use your "Dynamic" Ip address and when it changes, update your No-ip and your dynamic ip's in your host.

    OR

    2) Call and get a static ip, (No wireless, and the company usually charges for static ips, or atleast mine does) , and have all the ports are opened, or check if they are.

    OR

    3) use the search button.

    Go to your modem site and switch you connection to "bridge"
