    smile Hosting Forums on WAMP?

    im sure its possible.
    If not, any idea how.
I have all the phpBB3 forum files, and i put them in the wamp/www folder but there obviously needs to be more to it, like databases and SQL servers, but im clueless.

So if someone can make a tutorial, or help me on how to host a phpBB3 forum on my WAMP server, it'd be much apprieciated.

and by the way, I already have searched the forums, and Google, nothing is clearly explained.

much love if you can help :)

    AHH DELETE PLEASE!!!!!!

    Re: Hosting Forums on WAMP?

    - Download WAMP
    - Download the Forum Files
    - Goto C: Drive and in there should be a folder named WAMP
    - In that folder goto another folder named WWW
    - Delete EVERYTHING within the WWW folder
    - Put all the forum files into the WWW folder
    - Goto internet explorer or watever and goto http://localhost/
    - Make sure WAMP is turned on
    - You should be able to install now, just make sure you have a database!

    Database:

    - Goto the site he mentioned above
    - Register, login, goto the CPANEL
    - Then find something such as MySQL Databases
    - In there you can create a database
    - Once made, assign a user to it
    - Once that is done, go back to your localhost forum setup
    - In the install you MUST make sure the HOST, USER, PASS are all the same as your database location!

    Hope that helped >.<
