How can I make this better?

Seeing this thread , you guys now know I've returned and I wanted to keep this a secret until I got my community up and running by summer. The reason I created this thread was to ask your guys opinion on what can be done to change the template Kidd released. This is what I've done.

I've already decided to make a better navigation but leave the white stuff at the top for my logo and the server time and to get a better background for it. I need to know what on the right or left side needs improving on or addition of. The two white boxes are for my download and upload emblem images.
