other ppl can crash my game and my server hackable

I think its better to dont put gameguard or X-trap on your P. Server, because for that programs you need to pay [ That means not free to use ] And you also need the serverside programs for it.

Its better to write your own program. Thats mine opion,

writing his own program would be very hard.
on the other hand useing x-trap and gameguard is completely useless.
i was wondering is there any different way to patch a hack?

The most hacks are adress changes, what they do is change the value of an adress or lock that value [this is for hack like ap,hp lock or weapons lock]

You can edit you runnable that the adresses are different [ but an new hack is made in a couple of mins if you know where to search]

The best and hardest options is to make an program like X-Trap or GameGuard that monitors the memory values/changes/lockes. But is hard to code one and even harder to make unhackeble.

And on the second option you also need to edit gunz.exe, that i cannot run without it.

To make an long story short[not that it was long but] Its very hard to secury your server. X-Trap and GameGuard are useless[look to the amount of hackers in ijji and igunz.]

Apparently OWS protected Legacy Gamers from DLL injection and trainers.

There obviously is a way but it won't be easy and you won't get much help on it here.

You'd have to code a program that monitors memory, injections, etc. and make it run whenever Gunz is called. Then of course, you'd need to make it self-sufficient and keep itself from being edited.

Honestly, unless you're already fairly competent with programming already, there's no point in learning C, C++, Delphi, etc. just to make an anti-hack, unless you're dead-set on it.

And uh, there's no way to put Gameguard on your server. It costs money, and GG wouldn't license an illegal, unsponsored pserver. Besides, you don't have Gunz's source code, so even if you did buy a license, you couldn't implement it.
