Notes about the CEF file extension:
Errors in your registry are one of the common causes for incorrect file associations on your windows system. It is highly recommended that you check your registry for file association errors (will also check for any other registry errors).
The CEF file type is primarily associated with 'CenturionMail' by CenturionSoft. CenturionMail is a security program for encrypting E-mails as well as files/folders. CenturionMail uses self-decrypting technology so your recipient needs nothing to open the encrypted email except the password.
im guessing not, but i could be wrong.
Anyways the things im getting on how to open are these 2
A. You need to identify a program that can open the file
B. Or your registry may be damaged
some sites recommend running a scan to check the registries, some have a free scan.
