How to add a new quest map

How would I add a new quest map? I downloaded a .mrs file which was all I got for the quest. Also i think i remember downloading custom maps enabled runnable. I tried to randomly messed with channelrule.xml and map.xml but i couldn't get it showing. (i don't know how to do it, that's why i "messed" around). I also placed the .mrs file in my maps and quest maps folder. if you guys could help i would appreciate it. Thanks

Btw I'm using a 2008 source. And would the process be the same for regular maps? Either way i don't know how to do it.

Keep Backup files next time ^.^ that what i always do ;P

However, Just put the maps in your quest map folder, Done.

It was nothing hard to undo in the channelrule and map.xml but i heard for 2008 you needed to edit map.xml and channelrule.xml which i dont know how to do. For 2007 i heard you just drop the map in the folder. But anyways i had thd map in the folder and it didnt make a difference. I'm trying to make the Snow Loutie boss quest released from RZ as a quest.
