Why would you care if someone has your IP address if you have DDoS protection ?

The final result of a UDP flood is lack of bandwidth where the result of a SYN flood is lack of memory / full buffer.

we do not use cloudflare on our site, odd few times we have used it for short times. we did use the DNS they provide as it has fast updating speeds due to the low TTL. we use namecheap DNS on our site now.
You can also ping our solusvm server vps.izserv.com

Re: How to block a ddos attack ?
I've got a hardware firewall, these software firewalls are cute for a few flooding noobs and for banning IP's, but a hardware firewall at your ISP will always be the best. Also a 1gb/s internet connection will help your connection to be more stable when you get attacked.
