Any particular reason your own website runs behind CloudFlare?

Use CloudFlare Pro for best proteciton. Not 100% but most DDOS atacks will be blocked.

Is there any specific reason for not using cloudflare when there's one anti ddos at their own VPS?

Cloudflare doesn't protect only DDoS Attacks, it also can hide the website information, ex : IP.

He can use both things, i'm sure.

The guy who he was quoting apparently gives DDoS protection services. Why would someone who offers DDoS protection services use a different service if his works ?

Private domains don't hide ip addresses.
Only registers information such as Home or Business address.

the solution is webhosting + VPS upload files web in the webhosting and VPS server files and database it is the end.

DDOS attack is UDP attack, not TCP.

just download to the vps firewall

The final result of a UDP flood is lack of bandwidth where the result of a SYN flood is lack of memory / full buffer.
