I use No-IP to get a DNS Host address for my gunz server. The IP for the dns is my WAN IP. But I've noticed how my WAN IP has been changing, is there a way to get my DNS Host to update to my new WAN IP, or does it really matter at all?

Go to Some computer hardware store and buy a think called "Router" I recommand LinkSYS
routers is almost impossible to host a server unless u use hamachi :P
cause i port fowarded alot still didin't make progress with router :/
You just need to set up a static IP address. Google it.
hey arrio can u show me what ports i need to open? cause i even put my router in dmz mode and i still get agent error =[
I also use a Linksys Router with a little DMZ and maybe a loopback there is no problems at all.
i think its my road runner :P cause i'm using linksys router also and i'm in dmz mode still agent error
There are several things why your ip can be changed.
1> You have an internet connection without an own IP. [ Like dailup or some DSL or Cable providers does ]
2> You have change internet provider [ ISP ]
3> Wrong settings in the modem of your DSL or Cable connection
If you use dailup your Ip will change everytime
If you use DSL or Cable and your IP change everytime contact your ISP [ Internet Service Provider ] And ask if you can have an own IP
If its not possible use hamachi or something like that.
There are several ways to get an own IP [ that not changed ] but its illagel and i dont wanna explain it, and dont PM about that,
People that know how to use google can find it.....
I'm out of this topic..
BTW: MODS if the last thing about the own IP [ on the illegal way is not allow here please delete or PM and i will do it ] Don't wanna an infraction....
