this was a big question for me too. i have questioned this topic last half year / 6 months ago.
the question is, how to update the gunz 2008 database to gunz 2011/1.5 database?
do someone has query to share?
You can export your account, character, and login table data into a sql file format. though the DB has changed a bit from 2008.
Right click GunZDB in SSMSE (SQL Server Management Studio Express) > Tasks > Generate Scripts. This is where you can get the data from any table and export it as a .sql file.
From there, click next on the default page > Select specific database objects > from there choose any tables you want > click next > Just click advanced here > Change the "Types of data to script" in that list to whichever option you want. > Click ok > Click next > click next > Done.

I gave you exactly what you would need to do a transfer from a 2008 DB to a GunZ1.5 DB. If you can't figure it out from there, then I can't help you.

Yep, all that you really want to move over is the sensitive data anyway. Anything else can be created again.

Nice ;) and all you really need is any edited tables and account + character info. and odds are if we havnt heard of your server you could manually enter it in since many accounts aren't made anyway .
