This is not a exporter error, this is you not doing the full process of texturing the object.

In Blender 2.49B you have to go to the materials tab and actually add the texture in the materials tab.

*Note: In this video he uses cylindrical mapping for his texturing method, remember you cannot do this, UV mapping must be done to texture the object.

No further help will be given on this issue... if you guys want to use outdated methods that is fine by me, but I do not feel like taking my time teaching people how things were done back in 2008.
