I took the xcrap files from igunz and mixed them with the BR January client, since you can use igunz with vista now. What happened...



To me (XP User): EVERYTHING WORKED FINE. This has to be the funniest thing I've ever heard. An anti-hack program, specifically designed for a V1 client works with a V2 client. Spectacular.

To my Vista Friend: He got past the launcher and the game loaded. The game crashed after he attempted to log in, without an error (generic windows memory error). So what do you think happened? Is the January client compatible with Vista?

This will never work. Xtrap has its own CRC function. It checks itself when it starts.

Then its ironic that it did work? I was playing quest with 3 other people today, running igunz's xtrap files. In fact, its running now.



So question, is there a client thats vista compatible that works with january's server? PErhaps one of the official releases from brgunz or even ijji gunz that matches up? Would of been nice if someone had cateloged these somewhere...
