Hi i use cloudflare on my domain name i want to change my launcher to my domain instead of ip address but it doesnt connect to update server when i do this please help

It's actually works if you use your domain to work with updates. Just no one said anything about it on here, I believe. As long as it has a location, it will update.

As for your problem, I believe you did something wrong, of course.

If the dns of the domain was the host's, it surely can be used for the launcher. But only if it was dns, I see people using redirects and frames LOL.

I use my domain to update with the launcher,


instead of ip

mydomain.com

and GunzUpdate/gunzweb

is GU/GW

then upload the create the patch on my PC, then upload the patch.xml, and files to the host using an FTP client.

If your point is to prevent peoples from seeing your IP then I assume no-ip would do It for you. I'm not sure for a Pointed record domain name, but if It's a URL redirect It surely won't work.
