Is GunZ Source good for learning MMO Development?

Hi, I'm a newbie to MMO Devlopment (2 years c++ skill). Just download GunZ 1.5 source, and managed to compile it under VS2008, but skim throught the source make me wonder whether it's a good souce base to start learning MMO Development from. (Kind of messy if I can say)

Is Iris / Luna / Flyff / Journey to the West better souce base for a newbie to start learning MMO Dev?

    Nope.

Start learning with FlyFF source if you're into actual MMO dev. GunZ is coded horribly.

RealSpace2 is nice, Mint2 is nice, IOCP is bad.

Thanks, I'll go and check out FlyFF.

How about Journey to the West, how is it comparing to FlyFF?

ZEQ2 isn't much, but it's pretty sweet (not to mention cross-platform).

Start Small bro, when i started coding I was using eclipse engine, it's a small visual basics 2d tile online game maker. It uses winsock and saves all files to .ini's for configs. It's very basic true and kinda sucks, but if you are REALLY new to game design start there.
