Models can use either JPG or DDS formats for textures, depends on the creator of the model. Just put the JPG file along with the ELU file.

    Thats not all Styx ...
JPG,DDS,BMP,PNG and TGA are Supported by Gunz.

    @richieard:
Checked that your texture name isnt 61516165 billion chars long?
Made sure that the Merial Uses the right Texture?

Only the Import script by phantom has a "problem" with other file types than dds.
Because the Importer only looks for DDS files in the same Folder.
While Gunz looks in the same Folder for any File Type with that specific name.

No point in naming all the other formats if this thread is specifically targeted on .jpg

Usualy images found on google have a ridicules long name.
Make sure that your Image doesnt have one of those a billion letters long name.
Also make sure that you selected the right textur for your objects material in blender.
Since you could export it means that you do have a material set for your object.
Are you 100% sure that you put the textur into the same folder as the model?

Re: jpg files instead of a dds file?

Its exactly what i descriped ...
The Model uses "concept_gun_by_xXxghostxXx.jpg as textur.
I told you to check if you selected the right texture for the objects material ...
Could it bee that you arent the creator of it and simply got this from someone?
(Not: i dont mean you leeched, more that you got it from someone)

As for Weapons the mesh name isnt used at all.
It is because of what i said, different texture name in the model ...
