    kGunZ BlitzKrieg Info

    I posted this here because this isn't a development, nor anything release worthy.


    • Netmarble update list:



    It now seems like Netmarble are deleting patches which are outdated, so keeping copies is now more important that it was before.

    • The .mef RSA key has not changed
    • I've also dumped Gunz.exe for anyone who is having problems with the Themida/XTRAP protection:




    NOTE: The PE headers have not been fixed. To get to the entry point in OllyDbg, go to the modules window, and follow the code in the CPU for kGunZ32July.exe

    • The new gametype is MMATCH_GAMETYPE_BLITZKRIEG (enum: 0xD, "BLK")
    • The replay version is now 9.0

    It refers to the GZR replay recordings you can take of your gameplay. I wrote a program to view some of the data (GunZ Replay Examiner - http://forum.ragezone.com/f245/gunz-...5/#post6076227) a while ago, and the last version it supported was 5! I thought it was noteworthy!

    Replay version had to be updated to include the npcs minions I'm guessing. Do you know what other information is recorded, or any guesses?

    I was interested in this update because I wanted to see how they would store the NPC info. I've not had a chance to look at it yet, but they've previously added avatar descriptions and relay map descriptions somewhere across v6-8.


    Also, did you see they've added a flag model in their new map? I saw what you were going here: http://forum.ragezone.com/f496/show-thread-part-2-a-734482/index39.html#post7143272

    This might sound stupid, but does Korean GunZ also have anti-lead? I know it's not needed there, but I want to know for sure. GunZ Kaybo (BR GunZ) already has it. MAIET's version isn't that bad.

    On topic : I'm glad that they made a mode like this. It's quite detailed and seems to be fun.

    Ok, let me explain about that.

    First, we already implemented an antilead system for GunZ. But we didn't update it for Korea because it will disable some steps that users made and users complaint about it. That's why we only update the system for Latin America server.
    When asked about NA GunZ (Aeria), he said it's being considered.

    No problem, and about the new patches i'm not sure. I just ran a wget loop up to patch 800 and those are some it found.

    It is really kinda empty?

    Im guessing that when actually playing the game mode, it fills up pretty quickly though I guess.

    Thanks for the shots though, Ill have to take a look at it for myself today =o

    I've also posted some gameplay information of Blitzkrieg to my blog, below, if anyone's interested.

    Here's my understanding of the gameplay:

    • Blitzkrieg is like a strategy kind of mode. (PvP v NPC, sort of like League of Legends / DotA)
    • Players are matched into 2 teams of 4 (4v4)
    • Barriers owned by the opposing team have to be broken down by you and your NPCs (as support) before attacking the opposing team’s tower.
    • Buffs can be applied to your NPCs/creeps, at the expense of honour-points (points accummulated from killing NPCs/players)
    • There are 3 lanes for NPCs/creeps to walk through
    • Your main tower can be used to regenerate HP, AP and ammo
    • Your main tower does not react as an offensive structure when an enemy decides to waltz right through to your invulnerable tower
    • When a lane defense is completely broken, a boss will spawn and attempt to take down your main tower -> ending the game.
    • I’m not sure what happens if you kill the boss before it does so.

    Are you joined to KGunZ, or it is an emulator?

    Anyways... Unpacking Themida is possible? (that should be launchable.) I'm interested to write 3rd emulator for newest KGunZ runnable, but I have no idea for it.

    Too lazy? Newbie i think you're much lazy too.. because this map is for team only and have not solo spawn.. then.. is unable to respawn if u die ;D
