LAN vs The rest of the internet

I'm someone with a lot of experience in REmaking gunz private servers all over again from scratch. Every time there was a new problem and a new challenge to overcome. There was a problem that took me half a year to figure out, desperately trying everything I can and listening to absurd accusations of now configuring the server or not port forwarding RIGHT. Finally, you know what? I realized my isp blocks TCP ports. Now please tell me, why the fuck nobody mentions it to people who have absolutely no luck setting up a server without hamachi? Oh well, to my luck I changed the ISP very soon ;)

Today, once again, I face a new problem. I will really appreciate any help but let me warn you -- don't give me bullshit about configuration, system.xml and outdated files.

Experiment 1:
I set up the server, everything seems fine and my friend connects to the server and plays. I cannot see the server, so I change system.xml ip's to my lan ip.
Now I see the server but "cannot access server".

Experiment 2:
I changed the WAN ip in serverstatus table in the DB to my LAN ip and I can connect with no problems. But now, my friend cannot connect.

Experiment 3 (Tested with the very first server files and DB as well as the newest):
So I got the old DB and server files, left the serverstatus IP table blank and YAY, both me and my friend can log in without any problems. I did the same with new server files and I have tested BR, international and a few other clients as well.
Problem: No matter with matchagent or without and with any kind of a configuration, we will still get 999 ping to ech other.

Experiment 3 happens also when you let your friend in with your DB wan ip and temporarily change it to lan and also get in.

Now sorry, but what the ****? I must confess that I couldn't really find mythical's DB that wasn't bugged as opposed to the server files. Doubt good DB will make your character start level 50 and naked and get stuck at black screen after character select. << The reason I even searched was because back then (a long time go) when I started and was using those files, everything worked like a charm. I even kept the old server files with new clients and it worked fine.

So the only one I have to blame with my current information are the new DB's out there or at least the part that takes care of serverstatus.dbo

I accept any help offered of course but I have a feeling this thread will simply get no responses. < Part of the reason why I search for any other posts, tut's or whatever method out there to fix my problem first.

ps: Don't make me add "getting banned for a lame reason" to one of my excuses. If you don't tolerate profanity even within reason, just tell me so.
pps: Yessss, I even tried hexing the client to my ip, screwing with matchserver settings and using a matchserver that didn't even have any ip imbedded!

To clarify my problem, it's only me or only everyone else who are not on my network. Not a port forwarding problem because at some instances my friend can connect.
