I suggest you to go over on a 2008 client.
1.5 aka 2011 client is unstable and you have to be a good gunz developer with experience if you want to have a 1.5 stable with a good runnable and everything.
If you serious want to use 1.5 client you have to wait for somebody is releasing the 1.5 complete and stable.

I'v had this issue before, Did you wait a little bit? Because that's the problem sometimes. To be sure it's not the connection try to use 127.0.0.1. Try to re execute your database from scratch and don't forget to edit the table 'dbo.serverstatus..
Make sure in locator this is: TEST_SERVER="0"
And make sure that in server.ini: DEBUG="0"

Seriously, it is stable. MMonitor is not that important (Matchserver).
And it's not a "fix", let's just say it's a simple edit (Runnable).

The 1.5 files are stable, I can run a server tomorrow if I wanted to. You just need to know how to fucking compile it right.
