Re: Locator empty, but in the database there is

Run Matchserver>Matchagent>Locator And match sure you edit locator.ini and server.ini make sure u edited everything inside SQL and make sure u dont have a mixture of client material like some 2008 and some 2007.

Re: Locator empty, but in the database there is

That IP is wrong. When you see an IP with 192.168, that's not the IP.
Go to What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address
    and that's ur IP.

@Mafia and London: It's obvious that he used the Default Gateway IP instead of the IP Address and locator does not matter about the Matchserver and agent whether its open or not.

Port 8900? o_o btw make sure you also got opened as 1, though i think it would have 0 in locator.exe even if it was 0, meh

Yeah Port 8900 is default. Everyone uses it.

    OMFG GUYS IK WHY, lololol

I just was wondering about the port, why he set it to that, but for locator u need to set it in ServerStatus table duhhhh!

@Above post, u made me realise. lololol

Though i hope this is the cause of the problem ZZzzz

Mafia, the order of starting the server doesn't matter.
I like to go MatchAgent, Locator, and then MatchServer. Still works ;)

Yeah, true wesman. When I open all three in sequence together, Matchagent pops out first then locator followed by Matchserver.

Depends, if your agent keeps trying to connect to the matchserver it doesnt matter otherwise it does.

Re: Locator empty, but in the database there is

I almost NEVER close my MatchAgent when my server is under Maintenance. It still tries to connect to MatchServer. When I reopen my MatchServer, it stops showing the Message (Reconnecting to MatchServer). Therefore it doesn't matter about the sequence.

true, but that would only happen if your MatchAgent is configured incorrectly :)

It depends on how you coded your agent.
