MAIET signed another contract for GunZ in South America

MAIET obviously doesn't trust LUG anymore, due to all the leaks over the years. LUG's BR GunZ closed a few weeks ago so now this is the news:

Today we have signed contract with Korea based online game publisher, FHL Games for the exclusive license of GunZ the Duel on South America publishing service. It'll be the official server for South America and will be available in few months.

They should really start some more official servers.

Dude, LUG Philippines bought GunZ rights, but LUG didn't launched it here. :(


So at GunZ 2, they should get some other game publisher than Level-up.

Kind of.
But i doubt that they give out the 3D Max Scripts for Animation,Models and Maps.

It would all be closed source, because MAEIT i guess pass the patches down to there server hosts to patch in...

Actually when you buy a license from Maiet, you are only given the compiled exes, the respective files to run them, updated sql scripts to update the db, and documentation explaining how to use each sql script / changes. Any changes you see to specific Gunz versions are done by Maiet specifically.

They get no tools for changing game content or anything of the sorts.

Sounds like a huge pain in the ass to me.

Yea... They might get a few report apps to view issues people are having etc. but nothing for dev.
