Well, Gunz does not have a official patent by the US Government. So, we can use raw Gunz files to make your own game.
For example, Call Of Duty was based off of another game's files. So, if CoD is big, then any new game could be big. All anyone has to do is basically make sure all files do not look like Gunz in anyway possible.
No one would like to do that anyways. Private servers have been up since a long time and nothing has been done till today. Why try to spoof it then?
If you're trying to have a new game built by all this, I don't think it will be done since it needs efforts from a lot of people and it's a very confusing thing to mix 2 or more games.

Do you think makin a whole game is easy as that? and who you think will start making a game ? then when you plan to make a game , it should be based on an other existing game , and that won't let you use their gameplay ( or something) with out paying them ..

All of us know that. And no one's going to bother to spoof stuff either, since MAIET or any one else have never done anything about private servers.

Yeah well, that happened but I guess they've given up now because they know that private servers won't stop coming. To make it worse for them, Euro was back up in 10 days, lol.

Yes , but Maiet may not do it regular , maybe just the profitable servers.
He means to say modding Gunz Engine just like ZEQ2 based on Half life 2 Engine.
He actually means change the gameplay, instead of modding it.
