News regarding GunZ 2

I read this on MAIET's facebook page a while ago, and guess what? We won't be able to play GunZ 2. I don't know about RaiderZ, since they signed a contract with some European game provider to launch it in 2012.

There will NOT be an international edition for our upcoming products. We found so many problems while we were providing GunZ: international edition.

Other comments on that:

For GunZ 2, we have another *unveiled* plan for more regions that we cannot provide official edition. But please note that it's NOT for this year - maybe 2013.

Guess what, it's 2013 now.

We will have more official service providers for GunZ 2 as we can as possible. "International edition" means the service that we provide directly.

Yeah, a small company like MAIET who couldn't even handle International GunZ for long are going to provide GunZ 2 International service?

We'll try to make more official partners for more regions. Please don't worry. :P If the market is enough to handle it, we'll find a partner for it.

Isn't as simple as that. There's business to be done and etc :)

I'm guessing they want to keep it closer to home to see how it goes before opening their doors to a wider audience, which makes sense if you think about it - if I were making a game, I would certainly market it to English speaking countries (namely the US and the UK), before even thinking about pushing it out worldwide.

By no means am I an expert but it's meant to be coming out late 2011, and they're probably going to want time to get the game stable before moving it out into the rest of the world.

GunZ 2 is nothing like GunZ 1, GunZ 2 is more like s4 league or something.

That's because they're different games. They don't want GunZ 2 to be like GunZ 1, or they wouldn't have bothered making it a new game.

From what I can gather, they want to make the game more approachable by making the game easier to play. At the moment, there's a vast majority of moves to learn that aren't even presented to you when you start the game. For casual gamers, that sucks.

I think everyone just needs to stop saying "Y DEY DO DAT" and just accept it. What we've seen isn't the final version, and it's liable to change. This is their game and for all we know, they might not like the way GunZ 1 went.

I never thought gunz 2 was ever gonna be any good but now seeing the video just finalizes my thoughts as what Irvin side if I wanted to play gunz 2 i would just download s4.
