No servers show up!!! THe tutorials suck?!?!?! WTF!

Ok ... i followed ~DN's tutorial......

I have the Filelist Skip Launcher, Filelist skip client etc..... i think i dont need to update filelist, but i still did! To make sure..
so, here some screenies of my server..

OH BTW, IT ALL WORKS WHEN I PUT EVERYTHING ON 127.0.0.1 but if i change them to MY WAN IP NO SERVERS SHOW UP..... I have portforwarded all ports that i had to. Btw the reason i don't want the system.xml ip's to be on 127.0.0.1 is because other people cant play my server then...... the system.xml needs to be wan ip right? that doesnt work, localhost does but wan doesn't......
























Please help me...

Oh ive also found out that it works if i put all ip's to WANIP but only System.xml (in system.mrs folder),, when i change the IP's to WANIP it doesnt work.. if i change it to localhost (127.0.0.1) it works.. but then other players cant play on my server.

There is no Matchagent.xml only a agentconfig.xml ... maybe thats the problem? :S

ITS ALL BECAUSE OF MY SYSTEM.MRS , IT CANNOT CONNECT TO THE SERVERS!!!

When i put BOTH ip's (look first post for screenies) to MY WAN IP's it does NOT work but when i keep it on 127.0.0.1 it works... however, other people will not be able to play on my server....

are you sure you have your ODBC set up correctly?

Have you tested the port to see if its open?

Does your isp block port 6000?

Are you sure you changed the ip in your sql database?

Is there a process that could block some connections, possibly gunz, running at this time?

All right, All right, so when you're dealing with Local IP it works, but when you switch to WAN it doesn't...

Ok, first of all, try to check if the WAN IP is correct, most of the ISP end up changing it sometimes.

Of course I think it is, so let's move to the next step:

Set EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING to your WAN IP, even what you shouldn't.

Then see if it works.

If it does, then try changing back the things supposed to be localhost.

However I must say, everything on the SQL must be set up with your WAN IP.

Thanks tho for all your support, im going to download another client not the one from System32.. :( it sux... i did portforward all , ODBC = GOOD.. all other gunz servers work for me..

Everything in SQL is set to my WAN IP, check out my servers screenshots above to see if they are correct, are we sure that DBAgentIP must be 127.0.0.1?


I really don't know what the problem is.. i have opened lots of GunZ Servers i dont know why this one isnt working, btw im not the only one with this problem.. alot of people in the threads of ~DN's tutorial have the "CAnt see servers" problem. Something is wrong in the tutorial.

its not the TLOCATORLIST but the LOCATORLIST, if i change that ip to 127.0.0.1 my server works but i need it on my WAN IP ....

but if i change it on my WAN IP .... the servers dont show -.-

Please look at the screenshots and tell me if something is wrong *BTW IVE ALREADY CHANGED 127.0.0.1 to my WAN!!!! IN SERVERSTATUS.DBO*
