Not working at all..

I followed the guide and checked it over and over, But it's not working. Like.. I don't even see my damn server in the list, All I see is legacygamer's server. Anyone know what's wrong here? o.o

the legacygamer's server is your server. You took legacy files to build your server on so this is the current name of your server.

You must open gunz.exe with hex workshop or any other hex editor. Then search for text/string legacy and when you found it, type your server name over legacygamer's server. Make sure you do not type more characters then theirs reserved and when your name is shorter just put spaces on the other letters.

This might not be clear enough for you but their are more detailed tutorials in the gunz release section.

Well, That explains why it's called that.. But it doesn't explain why it's up, Yet I can't get on it. It shows it in the match server list but there's no option to login.. It's just greyed out, And clicking it doesn't do anything. Got an answer for that? =P

And my locater won't even run. o.o

EDIT II : Uh.. Nevermind lmao. I guess I was using the wrong client. I just downloaded a different one and it lets me attempt connecting. It's not connecting, But it's a step up. =]

Edit AGAIN : Well, That's that. It's connecting and I'm on. Didn't get the other server files to work but I downloaded some different ones and it works perfectly. Thanks for the help. :]

Mind explaining how you connected? ;) I followed the guide and I got it up to the login screen, but it won't login. It says that it couldn't login because connection failed or something like that.

I used the july client/server files to connect, The first problem was I was using editted NA GunZ' files, And you need International gunz client to connect. So.. I guess you could try going to gunz releases section and download the july client/files/DB.

Downloaded all of that. Tried to log in, it still gives me an error saying "Failed to connect" or sommat. Do I have to do anything with Locator.exe? o.O

Uhm, Well you have to have both locator.exe and matchserver.exe running, Or you can't connect.
