Please help [read] !!!!!!

hey guys, im new to this abd ive been working on this for weeks. and i cant even get past getting the database down..


ATM i closed my SQL and now i cant connevt to it when i open it. i tried to fix. i need to get this done and then i basicly have to start from the beginning,


i know there are people who can help em and all i ask is for it, please post useful info so i can enjoy owning a server.

and please dont link me to a tut, ive read them all

1. Open MSSQL Studio Express
2. Select Database Engine
3. Server name: YOURPCNAME/SQLEXPRESS
Then enter the password you entered in the setup (be sure that you used Mixed mode)
4. Connect!

NOTE: If you can't connect then you have to go to Start -> Microsoft SQL Server 2005 -> Configuration Tools -> SQL Server Surface Configuration and reboot your MSQL service.

ok, for my server name,

i use windows Xp Pro and when im in the pmy computer properties it says im registered to seanix which i chess will be my PC name...

seanix / "SQLEXPRESS" meaning? where do i find it?

go search google for your computer name, MSSQL should auto load your computer name. at least mine does >.>

and you said your computer was "registered" to Senix not your computer name "is" Senix

ok i can connect now but when i try to make the GunzDB i get a message saying like its already made when its not.

refresh and delete GunzDB
