Port 8080 as update.

Guys, I am unable to open ports 80 as my ISP doesn't allow it. So i have to use port 8080. But launchers are set to update to port 80. does this mean i am unable to have an auto-update?

I tried wanip:8080 as well, doesn't work. any ideas? :o

try changing ur launchers to port 8080
also try changing ur webhost ports to 8080

btw im just a noob that wants to help, hope this solves ur problem

What you mean my launcher's port to 8080. I have inserted ":8080" to the end of my ip's link in the launcher and it doesn't work.

well changing ur wan ip with 8080 at the end doesnt works, i've never tried before but try to hex edit ur launcher, and pres crtl+F and put : "port" in as search key and choose "text string".If it found something, then change the port to 8080 (dont use backspace or delete or els it wont work )

( I'm not sure if this helps or if its even posible. never did it before but just check it out ;) )
