Uhm look if you have Login correct and make sure u use same login + password as in installation!

express version of sql server i think doesn't accept remote connection, when you create a new server what version of sql server 2005 do you use?

Okay If this problem was not fixed

1. go to start control panel Administrative Tools

2. Services

3. Look for SqlExplore are something like that

4. right click go to properties

5.Change Disable To Enable

Go Start Program files Mirosoft sql server 2005

i believe it Mirosft sql Config not sure

And turn sql Explore on from there

I dont think you have Sql 05 installed. If you do, make sure you have the right host name.

i know that i has that before
you should do:
start->all programs->accessories->system tools ->Restoration of the system (I don't know if Restoration of the system is correct(english language becuz i'm portuguese :P)
then restore to the day before you install your SMSE then pc gonna turn off then on
now before install it again delete all SMSE folders like on my documents and C drive
Then install your SMSE
Then should work :D
