well warspirit in my opinion is lieing =/ There are two reverse engineers that are in the GunZ community. thats Bepetemish and Legion. Bepetemish works for me and Legion can view the .elu's but cant edit them, Bepetemish has reverse engineered the GunZ client itself so he will soon be able to do whatever he wants, he could make simple 3DS Max animations and put them in with ease.

Your going to need to figure out how to open .elu files by maybe recreating a program that opens it? think of it this way:

a .exe is opened by a program we do not see. It is designed to hit the right functions, triggers, and strings to open the .exe correctly. If you figure out those functions and such, you can then code your own makeshift .exe opener.
